What to Wear to Riding Lessons
All sports have proper "practice uniforms" We do too! Please use the images, descriptions, and links below to help you be prepared for lessons. Boots and helmets are needed for the first lesson! ALL proper attire is required after the fourth lesson.

Paddock Boots
It is important to make sure you have proper boots for safety purposes!

Riding Gloves
To have a proper grip on your reins, gloves are needed! It is important to get gloves specific to horseback riding.

Riding Helmet
If you are under 18 years old, helmets are required! Bike helmets will not do. They must be horseback riding helmets. Our favorite brands are Charles Owen, Ovation, and IRH.

Bootcut Jods
Saddleseat riding does NOT use breeches. We use bootcut riding pants. These can be found online! They are not often carried in store in our area.

Form Fitting Tops
These do not have to be specific horseback riding tops. We just ask that riders come in form fitting athletic tops and not baggy t-shirts.
